Aged wine masterclass in Bendigo

You want aged wine?

In the Red Velvet room of Fortuna Villa you'll journey through the Bendigo region's recent vintages as well as aged wines that have been waiting for this moment to reveal themselves.

Your masterclass with the Bendigo wine growers will unveil the secrets of aging wines in cellars. Most people consume their wine within 48 hours of purchase, so it stands to reason that many people have never tasted an aged wine.

Well, it's easier than you think.

On 20 August in one round of white wines and two of red wines you’ll marvel at the changes in vintages of Bendigo reds and enjoy the fun of aged and  current whites. Some of the 12 wines will lure you in with their flavour and style surprises.

Each round is served with a tasting plate carefully constructed to highlight the matching of wine and food. Absorb wine knowledge from  the Bendigo wine growers and ambience from the historic Fortuna Villa, a venue that has aged with classical elegance.

And if that isn't exciting enough one lucky guest will win the 12 wines showcased on the day.
