Big Hill Vineyard

Established in 1998, Big Hill Vineyard provides its visitors with a relaxing café and al fresco style atmosphere in which to enjoy wines and gourmet meals.

Big Hill Vineyard is set in natural surroundings overlooking Shiraz vines and a breathtaking garden setting. This unique setting combined with the wonderful panorama view will provide you with a memorable experience.

Recent planting of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon will enhance the already broad selection of wines available.

Functions

Our function venue is perfect for a function be it a presentation night, wedding, 21st Birthday, conference, or in fact any function where a group of people will be gathering. We pride ourselves in providing a high level of service to ensure that your individual requirements are met.

The Café and Cellar Door Sales adjoin the Function Centre in the grounds and gardens of Big Hill Vineyard. In this scenic setting a range of Big Hill Vineyard wines are available for tasting and sale direct to the public.

We also have a range of quality merchandise available at our Cellar Door Sales.

Tastings and sales are available from 10am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, weekends and public holidays. Groups can be catered for, but please give the Vineyard prior notification.

Wedding Scene

Over the past 12 months there have been 30 weddings at Big Hill with almost 1 in 4 couples choosing to have their ceremony at the vineyard.

The winter months give us an opportunity to spruce up and do some maintenance in and around the gardens and grounds in time for the upcoming spring weddings. Recently we planted another 200 trees and shrubs in the garden coves behind the wedding gazebo beside the path that leads down to the dam, which are yet to be made available for picnics.

With most Saturdays now booked for the next 18 months, we have decided to offer Friday and Sunday evenings at a 10% discount. To obtain a comprehensive wedding brochure, please contact the friendly staff at Big Hill Vineyard.

Even one of our directors, Nick Cugura, had to work hard to find an opening in the wedding schedule for the big day when he and Janine Leach were married March 23rd 2002.

Conferences

Conferences and seminars with anywhere from 8 to 150 delegates, have been very popular with over 50 conferences being held at Big Hill Vineyard over the past 12 months.

Christmas

Yes! It does seem to be early for planning Xmas breakups, but we already have some inquiries and bookings for Xmas parties. If you are interested please see the enclosed flyer for details and do not delay in contacting Big Hill to express your interest. We have also set aside Saturday night, December 14th for smaller groups and families to be able to take advantage of a wonderful night of Xmas celebrations.
