Wine Reviews
Many
of Australia's finest wine writers have waxed lyrical about our
wine and food with their columns and books filled with praise.
From the disgruntled judges of the 1873 Vienna
Exhibition, who were heard to exclaim of Bendigo's early Hermitage
that "no Colonial wine can be that good" to today's
wine journalists and authors, a consistent thread has run through
their comments from; "full bodied", "rich reds"
and "heaps of flavour" to "big brawny styles".
We've re-published a select few recent reviews
so you can `have a taste' of what others think of our region.
