Sandhurst Ridge Nebbiolo 2008

22 February 2011

An intriguing Bendigo red made from nebbiolo, a rarity in the district.  It's typically pale and the nose has surprisingly delicate floral, red berry, cherry and heathland aromas.  It's medium-bodied, with a fine texture and sustained cherry and chocolate flavours, backed by grainy tannins that give grip to the finish.
