2000 Water Wheel Cabernet Sauvignon

Despite what I said a couple of weeks ago about Bendigo being a great place to grow Shiraz, the region also does a terrific job with Cabernet and this is a great value example, with dark, rich fruit, molasses and anise complexity and a firm grippy finish.

Perfect as a late autumn/early winter rugged barbeque wine.

Widely available - $17
