Art, Wine and Music at Mandurang Valley

06 August 2008

Sunday 10th August from 11am – 5pm

Mandurang Valley Winery will be abuzz this Sunday afternoon as part of Bendigo’s Winter Feast of Food, Wine and Art.

An art exhibition opening for well-regarded local artist Bill Beasley will be held in the stunning surrounds of the winery.  The exhibition showcases Bill’s latest works with all pieces available for sale.

Bill also happens to be a talented traditional jazz musician and, adding to the atmosphere of the day, his band 'B Double' will play from 12.30pm - 3.30pm.

The day of art, wine and music includes a superb luncheon to be enjoyed in the picturesque vineyard setting.  Tickets for this event are $35 and three course luncheon, entry to the exhibition and music.  Bookings are essential.

Since 1980, the Vine family have been making wine from Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Chardonnay, Riesling, and in more recent years Pinot Noir, Merlot and Semillon/Sauvignon Blanc.  Wine tastings of the latest vintages will also be offered on Sunday.

To book tickets to this winter feast at Mandurang Valley Winery call Bendigo Tourism on 1800 813 153 or purchase online via www.bendigotourism.com

Mandurang Valley Winery is located at 77 Fadersons Lane in Mandurang.
